The Island Recreation Board, in conjunction with the Island Community Center, is sponsoring a Children's Christmas Festival on Sunday December 14, 2003.
The Children's Christmas Festival, with games and activities suitable for Preschool and K-3rd grade children, will be held at the Island Community Center (Stonington Gym Building) from 1-3pm.
Frosty The Snowman will be hanging out with the kids most of the afternoon and Santa will make his appearance from 1-2 pm to listen to the children's wish lists and take photos with the kids. Polaroid photos with Santa will be available for a small fee.
Refreshments will be available at no charge. Tickets will be sold for games and the cake walk and raffle at 10 for $1.00 (activities use 1 ticket per game).
The popular Cake Walk will be going on throughout the Festival as well as Face Painting and games such as Plinko, Bean Bag Toss, Bowling, Mini-golf, Bingo, and Limbo.
