The Island Recreation Board is sponsoring a youth soccer program starting Sunday, September 25, 2011 and running until October 16. The program will be run by a professional coach provided by Challenger Sports. Practices will be held Sundays behind Deer Isle-Stonington Elementary School. Grades K-2 will play from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm; grades 3-5 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Cost of the program is $5.00 per child. Each child will receive a water bottle.
