The Island Recreation Board is sponsoring a youth soccer program starting Sunday, September 24, 2006 and running for 6 weeks. Practices will be Sunday afternoons from 1:00 to 2:00, at the field next to the Deer Isle Elementary School. Children will be split into 2 groups based on age and ability. Parents are encouraged to participate. Cost of the program is $10.00, each child will receive a t-shirt. Sign up online below or contact Walter Kumiega at 348-2548.
