The Island Recreation Board is sponsoring a youth soccer program starting Sunday, September 20, 2009 and running until October 18. The program will be run by a professional coach provided by Challenger Sports. Practices will be held Sundays behind Deer Isle-Stonington Elementary School. Grades K-2 will play from 12:30 to 1:30; grades 3-5 from 1:30 to 3:00. Cost of the program is $15.00 per child, or $35.00 for 3 or more siblings. Each child will receive a t-shirt.
