The Island Rec Board is sponsoring a trip to Great Skates in Bangor on Wednesday November 11th for students in 3rd through 12th grade. Younger children can go with an adult. Activities include roller skating, arcade games and laser tag. Trip cost is $12.00. Bring your own skates/roller blades or rent them at the facility ($1.50 for skates/$3.00 for roller blades). Bring extra money for laser tag ($3.00), arcade games and beverages/snacks sold at the concession stand. Bus leaves DIS Elementary School at 8:00 am and returns at approx. 1:30 pm. You MUST sign up ahead of time for this trip. You will need a signed release form (do not give release forms to your teacher - bring with you!) and the trip fee ($12.00) to board the bus. Parents/adult chaperones are always needed.
