Island Rec Board is sponsoring a day of hiking at Mount Battie in Camden. The trip is open to all 5th through 12th grade students and any families interested in joining the group.

The number of eligible participants will be limited to how many vehicles/drivers we have volunteer. Anyone interested in helping drive participants to the park please contact Gina Grego at 348-0970 by Wednesday, October 8th.

WHEN: Friday, October 10, 2003

TRANSPORTATION SCHEDULE: Leave DIS High School at 9:30am and return at approximately 4pm. Drivers with vehicles are needed to drive participants to the park - please call Gina by Wednesday, October 8th to volunteer.

COST: FREE

WHAT TO BRING: Bring plenty of water and a bag lunch (no glass containers please) and a signed release form. Make sure you have appropriate footwear and are dressed for the weather.
